Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Board Certified
Dr. Nesmith is originally from Florida. He attended the University of Florida of his undergraduate studies. This was followed by Dental School and a period of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training prior to completing medical school—all at the University of Florida. He then completed five years of specialist training at North Carolina Baptist Hospital and Bowman Gray/Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Nesmith has been in private practice in Gainesville for more than 18
years.
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Nesmith has an active interest in the specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has published original articles relating to the field.
